The Journaling Exercise That Can Help You Get Fit and Change Your Life
What if there was a simple journaling exercise to help you overcome every internal barrier that’s stopping you?
It can help you get fit and lose weight.
It can help you be happier and earn more money.
And it can help you come up with new daily rituals to reach all your life goals.
For three years now, I’ve been doing an exercise I learned from Jim Rohn called “strategy pages.”
And that’s what I want to introduce you to today.
The Journaling Exercise That Can Change Your Body and Life
What About You?
On those dark days when you aren’t quite sure how to go about reaching your goals, is there some exercise you do to stay on track?
For me, during the most difficult years of my life, I promised myself I would only do two things:
A. I would not quit.
B. Each week, I would write out the things that were frustrating me, re-iterate my goals over and over, and then write out one strategy page on what I could do differently the following week to reach my goals.
What is your own personal practice here? Comment below.

Hi, Alex,
Great video! A goal I’m personally working on that aligns greatly with the strategy pages method is saving for a down payment for an investment property. I have been working on this for about a year now and anticipate at least another year to two years to achieve it. I know it’s a long-term goal, and I journal daily to check in with my savings and financial habits. Like your ‘Master the Day’ philosophy, implementing tiny habits and working day by day, I know I will achieve this goal, even though I recognize it will take a substantial amount of time. I believe as long as you stay on track and keeping working in small ways, success will come.
Thanks for this video and all you do!
Nicki
Thanks Nicki. I definitely agree that this strategy could be used for virtually any goal, and now I use it for all of my goals. That’s the way to do it 🙂
